How do we find release? We sing it out. Release your voice through singing, sounding/intoning, gentle movements, and reflections. This time is for YOU to allow release of stress and anxiety. You will feel emotional and mental well-being and wholeness after attending each class. Components of class include call & response-type singing, breathwork, gentle movement, reflection and ends with a sound meditation. Jen brings 20+ years teaching of voice and 3 years of sound practice to promote healing and wellness to help move through your throat chakra. This is a time for YOU to release! Each session will encompass: 1. Coming together in intention (poem and share) 2. Voice and body warm-up 3. A topic focus for the day (see below) 4. Exercises for you to try in your home practice 5. Full expression of singing in a song 6. Restorative sound meditation at the end. Wednesdays at 7:30pm: (Topic focus for each night listed) Nov. 3 - Introduction to your Body as Your Instrument (all the parts!) Nov. 10 - Breathing, Opening up the Throat Nov. 17 - Head Voice/Chest Voice/Mix (No Class Nov. 24) Dec. 1 - Intoning on the Chakras: How to do it Dec. 8 - Sending the Sound: Front, Middle, Back Dec. 15 - Putting it all together (You will receive a recording of each class if you cannot attend.)
